About Us

Dan & Casey

We did not get a beauceron with the intention of becoming a breeder – my husband, Dan, and I wanted a dog who was both willing and capable of keeping up with every aspect of our lives. We are passionate world travelers and spend the majority of our off time outdoors fishing, surfing, cliff diving, off roading, camping, and hiking - we needed a dog who was bold, formidable, trustworthy, zealous, and versatile; after an overwhelming amount of research we decided that a Beauceron would be a great addition to our family. Within the year, Xerxes was imported from Slovakia. When we realized he was pretty high drive for the breed, We dedicated everything to him. Giving him the outlets he needed. I went from being his “mom” to being his handler.

We started his training and entered him in all kinds of sports: conformation, Fast CAT, herding, dock diving, and – what eventually became our chef-d'oeuvre– IGP. He took every new challenge in stride and surpassed every expectation I set for him, breaking records in the Beauceron breed: in dock diving he achieved the longest jump (in his breed) of 27ft. After placing 1st in IGP1, 2nd IGP2, 4th in IGP3 achieving high in protection & high in tracking awards in Regionals; Xerxes and I flew to Columbus, Ohio where he became the first Beauceron in history to attend IGP Nationals in the USA.

Our final bucket list was to break into the TV and film industry—and this past year, we made it happen. Xerxes had the incredible opportunity to showcase his talent in multiple roles: performing bitework on a television show, appearing as a menacing dog in a music video, and portraying a police dog in a feature film.

Xerxes is not only the foundation of our breeding program, but the very reason it exists. To me, he embodies everything a Beauceron should be—loyal, driven, intelligent, and versatile. His presence has sparked in me a deep sense of purpose and passion for preserving and improving this extraordinary breed.

Xerxes has forever changed my life, and I’m incredibly excited for what the future holds—for our family, the friendships we build, and the continued evolution of our Beauceron program.
